History

Formerly known as Jamila and Company, Inc., a multi-purpose corporation. Founded and registered on December 13, 1946 by the late COL. SERGIO N. JAMILA. SR., a USAFFE World War II veterans, who lobbied for the enactment of Republic ACT 5487, known as Private Security Agency Law and a co-founder of Philippine Association of Detective and Protective Agency Operators (PADPAO), Incorporated.

The Jamila had a lowly start having been engaged, among others, in the business of Agrivet Supply (Poultry and Hog feeds). Sometime in 1951, the company engaged in security business under the style Veterans Philippine Scouts Security Agency.

    Cubao, Quezon City, Philippines.

The Jamila held office at 1777 Espana Blvd., Manila from 1951 to 1967. Sixteen years later, the company transferred office to Quezon Blvd. Extension, Quezon City, from 1967 to 1990 where the security business started to perk up and became the primary business of the company.

In 1984, when Col. Jamila was no longer fit for his position requiring sustained exertions, the company went on board in a remarkable turnover of command to the second generation.
